How It Works : 1st student opens all lockers available. The 2nd student closes all lockers whose number belong to the multiples of 2. From this point on, the locker in turn and any other lockers whose locker number belong to the multiples of this locker number changes its status to 'open' if it is closed, 'closed' if it is open.
